Mathews Bow (Archery)
A few years back I decided I would get into bow hunting. (Archery) I went to a local archery retailer to get outfitted. I had my mind set on a PSC and just knew that is what I would get. Fortunately for me I had an awesome and very experienced archer/hunter assisting me with my choice. He stood me in a shooting lane and had me prepared to shoot at a target. He told me not to look at the brands that he handed me but to just feel the bow and its performance as I shot them. He handed me bow after bow and each time I did as instructed. It seemed to get better with every different bow, then regress until I thought I had chosen the one I liked based on feel and performance. He handed me one last bow and I shot it. WOW! That's the one I exclaimed! I lifted the bow to reveal it was the Mathews Switchback XLT. SOLD!

After I wrapped up the purchase of the bow and all the accessories, I headed to meet with some fellow hunters at a 3D archery range. Keep in mind that until now I was deemed the poor archer due to performance with an old used bow. I now was in possession of a fresh state of the art, high performance, fine tuned, customized for bow specifically for me.

We began to shoot the targets at the range and I was on fire!! I went from being lucky to hit the target anywhere to nailing the bull’s eye almost every single shot. My buddies were in AWE and so was I. The distance of the target did not matter. In a matter of 15 minutes with my new bow I went from being the joke to the Duke. I was the man to beat by everyone. It really felt good for a change to not be at the bottom of the rankings. But the main thing is that day after day and week after week I was consistently at the top and consistently accurate.

Good equipment does make a difference.
